Note : Another one of those memorable baroque giallo titles, this 1972 film is very much of its age, with psychedelic nightmare imagery, weird jump cuts, and a serious debate on whether frightening nightmares about stiletto murders are better remedied by psychoanalysis (boyfriend says no, sister says yes) or joining a Satanic sex cult (weird neighbor says Hell Yes, everyone else is skeptical). In the end, it turns out trusting your boyfriend and taking your vitamins is the best cure. I believe this is the first film I've encoded featuring the lovely Edwige Fenech, the prime sex symbol of 70s Italian cinema. As you can imagine, this features a fair amount of nudity. The plot is convoluted and weird, but that's likely not what you're here for.
This is a pretty middle of the road transfer, not very clean, colors and grain could be better, but the commentary track is insightful and informative.
