Assault Rigs was one of the best early games for the Playstation. This meant that the PC version was overshadowed greatly and that many people did not play it. However it is without doubt one of the best games released by Atari in 1996. Even on an ancient Windows 95 the game plays beautifully. The sound quality is great, the graphics are pretty much as good as you could get in those days and the game play is sublime. Assault Rigs is a game based around a world where only virtual sport is played.
