During an archaeological expedition on Bouvetøya Island in Antarctica, a team of archaeologists and other scientists find themselves caught up in a battle between the two legends. A squad of highly trained marines, with high tech gear and Armour has been hailed to go to a planet with the Weyland-Yutani research station : Cerebus. Their task is simple, investigate the murders of several scientists and colonists on the planet, and hopefully destroy the Insurgent threat before they can sabotage the bases operations. Thing is, when Isaac Thrace investigates the nearby colony alone, while the rest of the squad searches Cerebus.
