The connection between Canned Heat and John Lee Hooker resulted in a double album entitled "Hooker 'n' Heat" with its corresponding tour in 1971. One of the highlights of that joint tour was this performance at New York's Carnegie Hall in 1971. This material previously unreleased is now available on Cleopatra Records as of April, 2015. Needless to say, this piece of work is a must listen for blues lovers of any generation.
