Description: A soldier fighting aliens gets to relive the same day over and over again, the day restarting every time he dies. IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1631867/ Languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish
Encoder Note : This is a 4/5 star movie with decent video quality. However it was filmed 9 years ago using older technology. It was challenge to prevent the file size from spiraling out of control, during encoding process. I had stop the encode twice and start over to perfect the rate control. I ended up settling with CRF 16 to match the video quality of the 7/10 Bluray source. It was required to pay the price of a slightly higher file size for good video quality. The bit-rate of the video stream is 8,900kpbs, which is insanely high on AV1. This is equivalent to a whopping 17,800kbps on x264. Total encoding time was 12h 16m on an i9-12900k plus 4 additional testing hours.
UserHEVC presents a special HDR10 encode. Astonishing video quality at CRF 16.
Images are resized to 1080p using a lossless technique, to optimize page loading speeds.
UserHEVC encodes AV1 movies. Razor high video quality. Reasonable file size.
UserHEVC recommends a 14GB video stream on x264, to match 7GB video quality on AV1.

“I encode videos to solve a problem, not to create one.” - UserHEVC
I started encoding videos to strive to do better. My Computer Science background helps to make better choices. File size is a problem, which is why video codecs (such as AVC, HEVC and AV1) compress bits of information. The choices we make to configure video codecs, impact us more than we know.
Please seed, it's a respect thing:

It's recommended to seed for at least a 1:1 ratio or 24 hours. Otherwise, the uploader's work goes to waste. The torrent will not propagate as effectively and there will be less seeders retained long term. If you have a slow connection – it's fine. Staying on the torrent for 24 hours has a tremendous impact!
