Music lovers of Eleni Karaindrou have every reason to rejoice. More than 3 hours of music, written for 22 plays, directed by Antonis Antypas (1986-2010) moved to a historical version - documentary on the Mikri Arktos, a 3 CD to accompany an elegant book, enriched with photographs of performances, reviews and information on the recordings.
The cooperation of Eleni Karaindrou director and partner Anthony Antipa began in 1986 when he suggested she composed music for "Victory" by Loula Anagnostakis.
3 CD set in the dramaturgy of the sign itself composers, including musical themes that embrace a period of 24 years of cooperation through the play "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf '(1 the Music Award - theatrical audience awards ATHINORAMA 2010).
The public and especially the theatergoers will enjoy compositions by Uprooting, A husband, A moon for misbegotten, the Shadow of Mart, the Rosmersholm, Long Day’s Journey into Night, the Birthday Party, The Glass Menagerie, Nike etc.
Wonderful interpretations of great soloists (Nick Ginos, Vangelis Christopoulos, Stella Gadedi, David Lynch, Vangelis Skouras, and many others), the first executions revive authentic magical atmospheres of representations which have been loved from the audience.
This wonderful journey into the musical world of Eleni Karaindrou and award-winning music for theater, complete the "Album" for 20 years of " Cultural Organization Range - STANDARD THEATRE " in Anthony Antypas .
For the director, Anthony Antypas, "the issue This seems to be the voice of the album, "something like the soundtrack of the performances.
For the songwriter, "The music pieces of each work, all together, look to me like a musical mosaic which unfolds the story of two persons who deeply loved the theatre which travelled them beyond the time"
The cover of the book is crafted with the project "Water" by Andreas Georgiadis .
