IMDb : https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097474/
Video encoded in two-pass 15.0 Mbps x265 10bit with the veryslow preset for archive quality image. Audio encoded separately with Apple AAC for the highest-quality AAC sound available. Subtitles converted to VobSub and repositioned.
Note : More from the Halloween Thorn trilogy, this is a direct sequel to Halloween 4, and features several returning actors from that film, including Donald Pleasence, Danielle Harris, and Ellie Cornell, also with Wendy Kaplan, Beau Starr, and Tamara Glynn. It won't make much sense if you haven't seen the previous film, I think, but it's... fine?
After Michael falls down the mine shaft, he barely manages to crawl away before dynamite is dropped down to kill him. He floats down a river, stumbles into the shack of a hermit, and falls mostly unconscious for a year while the hermit nurses him back to health, for which he is quickly rewarded with death, and Michael returns to Haddonfield to hunt for his niece Jamie again. After Jamie attacked her foster mother, she's gone mute, and is living at a clinic, while still maintaining a telepathic link with Michael. When Dr. Loomis discovers this, he wants to use it to kill Michael for good. Michael starts killing people close to Jamie, and every time, Jamie experiences a seizure. Of course, there's a Halloween party with horny teens, and Michael wants to gate crash, but Jamie senses the danger and escapes the clinic to warn everyone, as Loomis also closing in, and the question is, will they manage to set a trap for Michael, or will he just kill everyone as usual? There's also a cute kitten, and nothing bad happens to it.
Much like the other 4k remasters in the series, this looks pretty great, clear and clean, with nice contrast and color, reasonable grain, and fine detail. 7.1 remaster sounds similarly great, as does the stereo track, and the commentary track is there if you want it.
