This album is a like a cool, refreshing splash on a hot summer day. No matter when or where I listen to it, it always takes my mind to a place with palm trees and warm, sunny beaches. As with Inner Circle's other 90's albums, the music here isn't "pure" reggae, nor does it offer anything special in the lyrics department (the songs are mostly about girls, romance, fun in the sun, and reggae music). However, its upbeat reggae-pop sound makes it the perfect backdrop for a sunny summer day. In my opinion, "Reggae Dancer" has the strongest beach vibe of any of Inner Circle's 90's albums, with "Da Bomb" (aka "Speak My Language") pulling a close second.
My two favorite tracks on the album are "Walking on a Rainbow" and "Reggae Dancer", and other personal highlights are "Summer Jammin", "Broken Glass", "I Can't Imagine", and "Alright".
