'Heart Like A Wheel' was of course famously covered by Linda Ronstadt on her album of the same name, but it was written by the McGarrigle Sisters. Kate was the mother of the better known Rufus Wainwright as well as Martha Wainwright.
The engineer on this record, John Wood is the producer/engineer behind many great Brit folk acts like Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, John Martyn, Cat Stevens, Richard Thompson and Pink Floyd (Arnold Layne)
