Lucy released her first album, titled "Winter In June ", at the age of 16. In 2007, she won the International Songwriting Competition in the teen category for the song "I Don't Know A Thing". Her songs were featured on the TV series South Beach and Runaway, and her father, David Schwartz used her voice on the series Arrested Development, for which he composed the music. She wrote the opening and end credits for the 2008 movie The Women. The songs are called “Count On Me” and “Beautiful”.
In 2010 she collaborated with Landon Pigg to write and sing a duet for Shrek Forever After titled "Darling I Do". Subsequently they performed the song in The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This song has become eligible for nomination to the Best Original song Oscar along with her other song "Little One" from Mother and Child.
The year 2010 also saw the release of her CD "Life in Letters " and an EP entitled "Help Me! Help Me! ". |
