* New Scientist magazine (2004–2020 collection, incomplete)
Format: PDF
NEW SCIENTIST is the world’s most popular weekly science and technology magazine, founded in 1956 “for all those who are interested in scientific discovery and its social consequences”. It provides cutting-edge news, award-winning features and reports, reviews and commentary on all aspects of science, technology and their implications. New Scientist also publishes speculative articles that range from the technical to the philosophical. The current editor is Emily Wilson.
Although it doesn't rival Scientific American in terms of depth or complexity, New Scientist is written in clear and concise language that puts scientific advances in the context of everyday life today and in the future. It is an excellent resource.
