Synopsis:
In this last film of celebrated Director, Bappaditya Bandyopadhyay, before he died in 2015, a young woman Ria Chatterjee (Niharika Singh) goes in search of her father, Sandip Chattopadhyay (Barun Chanda). Many years ago Sandip had left her and her mother to go away to the North East. When Ria reaches Sohra village, she learns that her father too had come there. Thereafter, in a series of meetings with local people and through some imagined dialogues with her father, Ria slowly confronts the truth about herself.
Uploader's Notes:
This is a rip from a very badly authored DVD of a very good film. Unfortunately, the subtitles are hardcoded, the video bitrate of the DVD is very low leading to pixellation and blocking and the original colours are faded out. This rip attempts to restore the original color of the film, thus bringing out the pristine beauty of the hills around Cherrapunji.
Since the source had a lot of blocking and color bleeding, it has been difficult to give you a very good quality 720p Upscale. We think that this rip will be satisfactory, although the discerning may notice a very slight increase in blue gamma, which comes about because of the reduction of the yellow tint which was very prominenet in the upscale.
