Chang Shan (Chin Feng) arrives in Hong Kong with his wife and son only to be told that there is a plan to kill him. Li Szu (Tien Feng) offers protection and help.
The following day beautiful Li Na (Betty Ting Pei) invites Chang to visit her that evening. The two visit a gambling den where Chang loses all his money and the US$100 Li Na gave him. Chang is accused of passing counterfeit notes.
A fight ensues and Chang is abducted by Tang San Yeh (Cheng Miu) and offered US$10,000.00 to crack a safe where a valuable gem is kept.
Tang, an underworld gang leader, knows Chang designed the safe and vault locks. When Chang refuses to co-operate, Tang tells him that his wife and son are being held hostage by the gang.
