"Ted" Nugent (born December 13, 1948) is an American guitarist, musician, singer, author, and activist. From Detroit, Michigan, he originally gained fame as the lead guitarist of The Amboy Dukes, before embarking on a lengthy solo career. He is also noted for his ardent defense of hunting and gun ownership rights.
The original source of this file was a Betamax home video recording re-encoded to NTSC-DVD format. It captured an apperance of Nugent and his band on the short lived TV show "Fridays" that aired on ABC-TV on October 24, 1980.
This is "The Nuge" circa the "Scream Dream" album, which was a very successful album here in the USA.
Please remember that this is 1980 analog technology, so don't be expecting today's digital resolution and edits. It looks great for the time frame. Enjoy!
**Many thanks to jeffj for sharing and bpthree’s original Betamax for preserving this video.
