My Blu-Ray rips are always taken DIRECTLY from the actual blu-rays, not re-encodings of an earlier h264 torrent, and not "filled in" with web downloads. HEVC is a superb machine, but it should be given quality raw materials.
This is the entire first season of Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles (TSCC) from 2008, taken directly from my Blu Ray. Created by special request, this is a compact 720p HEVC version with only stereo audio.
This is a replacement for my torrent of 2018-01-06. The audio on episode 5 was muxed incorrectly. For anyone who has already downloaded the earlier torrent, please download only episode 5 from this one.
This is an early blu ray, and it was fairly tricky to rip. The indexing does not work; I had to rip the raw m2ts files and extract the video, audio and subtitles from those files.
I'll upload the second and final season in Spring 2018; that's much bigger, 22 episodes.
I used x265 to create a VBR in 2 passes, at the slow or slowest quality settings, I used the 8 bit version of x265, to reduce file size
Finally, the English, Français and Español subtitles are included (soft coded).
I think x265 has done a really good job, creating a very good reproduction of the original blu ray files, at a fraction of the original sizes.
