*** This is an audiophile version with whole album in one big file, if you prefer separate files, see lossless: http://1337x.org/torrent/100118/The-Big-F-1989-FLAC/ or lossy: http://1337x.org/torrent/51842/0/ ***
So... another rip of The Big F, this time with full paranoia (error correction, similar to EAC), CUE and TOC files, cdrdao log and 300dpi scans (unfortunately, scans don't have very good quality).
About the band:

Quote:
The Big F were an L.A.. based band who first appeared on the Elektra label in 1988 to little fanfare. Their music was a mixture of dark aggressive rock that played completely opposite to the glam-bands that dominated the scene at the time. Slipping through the cracks, they moved to EMI/Chrysalis in 1993 to release their second effort into a world dominated by "grunge", and their distinct sound was again overlooked. Faced with low record sales and mounting internal friction, the band decided it best to part ways.

Technical info:
CDDA ripped using cdrdao (based on cdparanoia), CD TOC in .cue and .toc formats, one FLAC file with whole album. Attached instructions for burning and playing under GNU/Linux.
FLAC - free (as in freedom) loseless audio codec - allows to preserve full sound quality, as if you play music CDs directly
Needless info from uploader:
The band is so unpopular so you can't get the CDDA (and ripped copies) anywhere. I'm probably the first who ripped and published full version of it, I hope that the producer has forgotten about it and won't complain. ;)
WANTED: Do u have "Is" by The Big F? If so, rip and publish. :) |
