A charming but totally ruthless criminal is sent to a remote Arizona prison. He enlists the help of his cellmates

Paris Pitman Jr. i jego banda napadają na bogatego farmera. Rabują mu 500.000 $. Jednakże Pitman podczas napadu,
przygląda się jak giną jego koledzy. Wkrótce sam zgarnia łup i ukrywa go w jamie skalnej. Nie wie, iż jama ta jest
zamieszkała przez grzechotnika. Wkrótce Pitman trafia do więzienia. Dyrektor Le Goff próbuje dowiedzieć się, gdzie
Pitman ukrył łup, lecz ginie w tajemniczych okolicznościach. Pitman zaś wraz z innymi więźniami knuje ucieczkę. Nowy
dyrektor Lopeman, zupełnie nie interesuje się więźniami. Dochodzi do zamieszek, a więźniowie uciekają. Pitman z zimną
krwią zabija, wspólnika, więźnia który chciał z nim ruszyć. Nie wie jednak, że jego śladem podąża jeszcze ktoś...
