An early and sadly under-recognized 60's-70's singer/songwriter who also had a knack for covering the best works of artists who were then barely known (the title of The Circle Game for instance is a Joni Mitchell song).
His own lyrics are erudite and meaningful-not surprising from an English Lit major from Harvard.
