Set during World War II the film follows Julien Maillat, a French soldier who tries to join the British Army on the
Royal Navy flotilla to England. No matter how much he tries, he and his French partners are sorely pressed
to get away as the fight is getting harder and the Germans closer. Filmed at the actual location
of one of the operation Dynamo evacuations, on the beaches of Bray-Dunes near Dunkirk.
