The Blu-ray did not include the Japan Diaries end segments about making the video. So this release combines two sources.
Main video encoded from BluRay Remux (Japan.Earths.Enchanted.Islands.S01.1080i.BluRay.REMUX.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.2.0-HDLAUV) using HandBrake 1.2.2, veryslow preset, x265, 720p, 10 bit, aq-mode 1, sao/strong-intra-smoothing/rect disabled. E1 and E3 encoded at CRF 28, E2 at CRF 27.
The 91 second intro is identical in the three episodes. So it was cut from E2 and E3.
Japan Diaries encoded from WEB-DL (Japan.Earth's.Enchanted.Islands.S01.1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DD+2.0.x264-Cinefeel) at CRF 30.
Audio encoded to opus at 80kbps.
