Description:
X4 will allow you to fly all ships personally. From small scouts over a wide range of ship classes up to the biggest carrier, everything can be piloted from the cockpit or an external view.
A big focus in the development of X4 has been to achieve a seamless and immersive experience when moving between ships. You can leave a ship, climb down a ladder, walk over the dock of a large space station into another ship you may have parked there and replace the pilot that was working for you just by clicking on his chair.
Repack Features
- Based on X4_Tides_of_Avarice-FLT ISO release: flt-x4_tides_of_avarice.iso (20,198,250,496 bytes)
- Missing Russian and French localizations (4.2 GB) & Bonus soundtracks/wallpapers (571 MB) added, thanks to Christsnatcher!
- Game version is v5.00 (474665) by default; You can update it to v5.00 (475121 HotFix) by copying everything from "_HotFix" to game root, thanks to Aiakos
- Pre-order Bonus, Collector's Edition Content, Split Vendetta, Cradle of Humanity and Tides of Avarice DLCs are included and activated
- 100% Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation (when installed with all components)
- NOTHING ripped, NOTHING re-encoded
- Selective Download feature: you can skip downloading and installing of bonus content (OSTs, Wallpapers, Artbook, Novel, Encyclopedia), credits video & voiceovers packs you don't need
- Significantly smaller archive size (compressed from cumulative 23.6 to 10.3~13 GB for any single language)
- Installation takes 6-20 minutes (depending on your system and selected components)
- After-install integrity check so you could make sure that everything installed properly

Selective Download
You can skip downloading of credits video & voiceovers packs you don't need. Here is the list of optional/selective files:
- fg-selective-eng-ger-and-others.bin (required for all languages, but Russian and French)
- fg-selective-french.bin
- fg-selective-russian.bin
- fg-optional-credits.bin
- fg-optional-bonus-content.bin
In example, if you want to launch the game with French UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers - skip all "optional/selective" files, but download fg-selective-french.bin & all main files (01-10)
Backwards Compatibility
This repack is partially backwards compatible with my previous X4 repack. You can rehash fg-02.bin and fg-10.bin to save 2.9 GB of traffic.
